Some cyclists drive 1m from the edge of the road, so you approach in your car allowing the other 1m and you are forced to cross the centre line.
Coming from the opposite direction I often see the centre lines crossed. That new law is stupid really, because the clearance you give depends on traffic conditions.
Need to make the roads wider with a dedicated cycle lane on both sides.
