The New York Times article on the WHO'S new guidance spoke ot the "severely ili" so its less than clear if this means those who are in extremis on a vent which is Rem-L target patient. The article also pointed out that steroids administered to older patients can result in hallucinations and delirium. Since those on vents are in medically induced comas it would seem logical that delusions are not of concern for those vented patients.
Bottom line: there is still an unmet need for Rem-L.
