Not trying to be argumentative, but this is exactly a competition — between treatment safety, efficacy, approval and adoption/sales. Business is a competition, the stockmarket is a competition and so too is scientific and medical research (happy to elaborate on that last point but it's the foundation of the scientific process and how the research community operates at all levels with regard to funding/career/employment).

Just to be clear — shorters had a party with the share price only weeks ago and are looking for any further opportunity to close their positions.

The motivation for this thread is to test our assumptions and analyses so that we're all as prepared as possible with evidence-based reasoning for the storm they might try bringing.
