    Let's see: here is my conspiratorial speculation:

    RER releases this negative news, short termers, jumpy holders bail, creating opportunities for faithful investors.

    Later on RER says: pilot plant testing produced oil.....

    Well, that's just me, wishfully thinking hoping thinking...
