Personally, I do think that what @Azzz posted was a very valid point.
Perhaps the numbers are incorrect.
Oh hold on, they are probably underestimated.
I have just run a quick search and found that this is a major problem.
Companies in the UK and even the USA often do not bother to reclaim the VAT.
It is a complicated process, because of language problems eg.
Also receipts regularly go missing.
There are some companies, eg there is one which I came across who you can engage to try and obtain the refunds for hauliers.
Very large corporations on the whole have systems in place. But smaller companies running up to 5 trucks often do not bother.
VAT as I understand, is at 15%. It is charged on fuel, hotel bills, takeaway food etc.
Hauliers regularly miss out on 4-5 euros pa on each truck.
In one post I came across from the USA, you can engage a specialist to try to recover your VAT payments.
I imagine there are many others.But you can only go back 18 months.
That is why I believe that this company has a really great product.
I have spent enough time researching today.
I am wondering if there are already competitors?
