Money should NOT come into this argument, by all means if it is a deterrant you can maybe argue a point but can you put a price on human life? And I maintain that miscarriages of justice have occurred and will continue to occur. By all means lock them up and throw away the key (and if further evidence comes to light they can be freed) but it is hard to bring someone back from the dead. Would you have executed Lindy Chamberlain? I am not a bleeding heart liberal by the way.
