I would think there is no doubt the negative sentiment of the markets overall are now and will continue to have an impact on CDS. The thing to remember here is to look at the direction the CDS SP has been going in this current market. I agree that the ann should and would not be held back in the interest of picking a better entry condition. I am very much looking forward to the treatment CDS will recieve in a rebounding market when it arrives.
