Limited government support and a market shy of backing risky investments has forced a Western Australian company aiming to revolutionise cancer treatment to look offshore to find funds.
Perth-based biotechnology firm Phylogica has spent 15 years working on a treatment that would essentially kill off cancer cells by stopping them from dividing.
