WA credit card maxed out

Saw on the news that the Barnett LNP govt is introducing legislation to allow it to up its borrowings by about 8.1billion. When the LNP came into office the budget was in surplus and WA had a AAA credit rating. Now the AAA has gone and the State is basically broke unless it can borrow more. Seniors are apparently going to be made to wear the pain with cuts.
