Funny thing about the voting public, they will castigate the conservatives for any misdemanour, yet forgive Labor for gross incompetence over and over.
In fact i suspect Labor would have to pass an edict for the forcible liquidation of every first born to make an impression.
Having said that and not knowing WA politics, sounds like the Canal idea was an own goal.
