At the federal level we need upper house reps to start thinking of the national interests instead of state interests - their election should be nationwide and not restricted to a state / territory. Such a change would assist with provision for minority groups such as Aboriginal Peoples.
Transparency in the identification of political donations has never been more important but needs to be extended to include services provided - as in media advertising . promotion / propaganda favours by the likes of Murdoch Mouthpieces.
Until that happens the scandals, rorts, exploitation of pollie perks, sexual abuse and assault, pork-barreling, waste of taxpayers money and provision of an RAAF VIP jet to allow Liberals like Corman to travel the World at our expense will continue.
