I hope someone who posts attends and sees what he has to say.

I don't know him but am always sus of academics unless they actually have been in business and achieved real world results.
Very few academics will bite the hand that feeds them- gov grants , industry grants  and student course numbers and scholarships.  Many academics are very good at their own business.

Be interesting to know when he thinks the knowledge will be mature enough to implement at scale and what are the current roadblocks.?
Perhaps someone can get a copy of his slides or presentation?
