The government are absolute D... H.... here. Let's keeping strangling the planet with fossil fuels, but ban an effective clean energy. They are a real joke, as there may be other deposits that are more economic than the approved projects but wont get mined for a long time.
The current U price makes some of the approved deposits uneconomic at current prices. When the U price turns with the future supply side squeeze, WA will not be able to take advantage of it, aside from the existing approved projects of course.
I find the political crap deplorable with ideology driving many important decisions in this country.
