Half the article quotes media interviews. This is not what government inquiries take into consideration when tabling their reports. They have already consulted stake holders and prepared a report. Sure Cook and parliamentary members must factor everything in when making a decision including “ the report “ which I suspect in now just sitting there. No harm in tabling in and taking it into consideration with anything else they want to.
I checked the parliament website to confirm the delay and just read the article afterwards.
There is nothing in there I can see that needs to be considered further to warrant a delay in the report being tabled.
Very wrong and I will get out my FOI applications ( probably in vein ) to work out what is going on.

My pure speculative view is the report recommends allowing some on shore exports. That doesn’t suit Gina who has been outed recently in the media and she is flexing back. She now needs that little more time to do her thing. I emphasis this view is pure spec I have no idea but the next 9 weeks will come to either something or nothing.
Goos luck to longer term holders who have been smashed recently.
