" If there is an event or place that wants to charge me an entry fee and I don’t want to pay it, I simply won’t go."
that's right - you do - and, so do most Aussies
you meekly walk away from being restricted to walk on the property you actually own
"The kind of freedom you want isn’t practical in this world,"
bull - it exists in other nations ----------- sorry about that
"there are too many idiots and nasty people that need to be overseen or taken care of otherwise they’d infringe on the lives of others."
you are speaking about the culture of Australia --------------
other places are different
like I said - Australians do NOT know what freedom looks like
many nations have a respect for people and property that Australians do not have
Go visit the UK - go to outside of London - what do you see? - well, it looks quite like Oz in many ways ---- vandalism - rife
Go to France - outside of Paris (forget Marseilles area) - what do you see?
no vandalism
it's a different culture
freedom and respect for people and property have a very different look to what one sees in Oz and the UK
