" From a fiscal perspective the nurses in the hospitals have been getting pay rises far higher than the CPI for the last 10 years "

Well much to the chagrin of all public servants over here in the west, the nurses only got a $ 1000.00 pay rise last year, not linked to the CPI, just as the cops and the judges , who may surprise some, think they needed a higher pay rise cause their doing it tuff on their existing salaries.

Somehow the cops think their above every other PS and were taken industrial action, yet finally gave in.

There is apparently the need to remunerate specialists doctors some 15 percent over Eastern state salaries to keep them here in the west.

    A known known.

The liberal/ nationals MP's here in the west IMO,should en mass think collectively of jumpin off a cliff.

WA labor are been economically prudent , yet don't get the kudos they deserve IMO from the westys that post here for obvious reasons.
