Trouble is the metronet deal won't be properly costed by anyone independent because Labor won't allow the plan to be analysed.
Thank goodness they won't win government in this state otherwise debt would go from 15 to 30 billion in 4 years.
It is a big disappointment to me and many others however that state debt has grown.
I have no problem with hospitals etc. being funded by long term debt this is fair as more than 1 generation of taxpayers will use the asset.
It would be interesting to see exactly what the increased debt has been used for. At least it's not going up in smoke on crap like the money that was blown by Labor federally.
