McGowan reminds me of that other copycat Labor stooge, name of KRudd, during the 2007 federal election.
He and his shadow treasurer W Swann, did a 'me too' on everything treasurer Peter Costello proposed but with absolutely no intention of being bound by those promises.
The classical and cocky Rudd quip, "I'm a fiscal conservative" delivered with a big cheesy smirk on his face indicated to all and sundry there and then he was lying through his teeth.
That alone should remind WA voters that all Labor pollies believe in bigger gov'ts and higher taxes and cannot be trusted with money, Budgets and Debt.
