Premier Mark McGowan will travel to Japan and South Korea next week to reaffirm the State's long-standing relationships in Northeast Asia and promote opportunities for investment, tourism, study and business in Western Australia.
The mission, the Premier's second official visit to both countries, will be an opportunity to promote investment in a range of different sectors, including medical research and biotech, space, defence, and agriculture, with a focus on renewable energy, critical minerals, and downstream processing.
The Premier will travel to Japan on Sunday, 22 January to attend discussions with key Government and business partners, meeting with representatives from Japanese Steel Mills, Mitsui, All Nippon Airways, Mitsubishi Corp, Austal and other companies.![]()
