I am back in Sydney now. Thanks to all the people who came along to the investor presentation. It was great to speak to so many of you in person and also get out and tell the RAC story to new investors. I met quite a few large investors who had not heard of RAC before and who were intrigued by what they heard. Hopefully many of them will investigate further and become shareholders, but in this market it is a hard ask to get people to put money into anything new.
Thankfully we did the placement last week as I would not want to be in the situation of the other companies that spoke at the event - one was trying to get away an IPO which I think will be impossible right now. It is going to be a very hard few months for small caps needing cash.
