What you mean is buying a house in perth is Schitt value for money, I would love to see a smallish crash but as someone else said with the mining boom expected to continue not for a while yet i don't think. i read somewhere that 1000 people are moving to Perth every week. 700 from the eastern states (most likely victorians!!!) and 300 from overseas.
