I have a word for you all.....it will not happen.....there will be no resources 40% tax.....or all the miners will pull out...plus there goes at least 9 billion in ordinary tax paid each year with it... and that is before and without any resources tax... the budget is kaput...and fantasy as it now stands
its just another fantasy idea from the current govnuts along with all the other ideas they put forward
however, the damage that the idea has created, will last in the minds of the miners for many years to come....
they will no longer consider spending billions on capital investment, as they have in the past... so there goes housing, jobs, income, and stockmarkets
that idea could have crucified the black coal mine at Oaklands....so lets see....hopefully sanity will prevail at some stage....and the idea will go into the bin, like all the other fiasco's of course if it were to go ahead, watch everything in Australia fall over....except the immigrants ...they will still come... and still need housing
