Also how mining tax is design any hike in mining royalties will be offset by the decrease in the mining tax they pay. So in matter of fact the mining companies will not care how much the royalties increase by because they have an offset in place.This will have no bearings to how much tax they pay hence why any royaltie increase has no effect to their bottom line.
