Whats the problem?
The State increases the royalty rate, means more dollars extracted from miners; or
The Commonwealth introduces a mining tax, means more dollars extracted from miners.
Its a win win for the owners of the natural resources i.e. WA taxpayers &/or Australian taxpayers.
