So how come no one is screaming about ripping 1.9 billion of profits out of our iron ore industry??
You know the whole argument about stuffing up our supperanuation funds, scaring of mining ivestment, the jobs this will cost, how this will drive investment offshore. You know the same ones everyone screamed blue murder about when it was about the mineral tax.
Wonder if we will get some multi million dollar add campaigns from the miners to fight this one.
Oh hang on its called a royalty , guess that makes it ok. Or is it because its a liberal tax that makes it ok on this thread?
