I think it is you that don’t get it. This is Malaysian waste and this is why Malaysia is asking Australia to take this waste (not lynas). Maybe if you built a billion dollar plant in Australia to turn it into a useful product then this may solve the problem.
Of course you can shut down LAMP as this is your sovereign right but I doubt it as your PM clearly state that LAMP can be kept operational.
So please refrain yourself from saying “send it back”. This argument is dead.
