If you need to control numbers in animals fish humans or any other life you have to control the breeding cycle. Donging the oldies on the head isn't the answer. In the case of the Great Whites, go back to fishing for the Juveniles in their breeding grounds and control the numbers just as it happened up until 1994. We had no white pointer attacks until about 10 years ago here in WA. Since 1994 the Great Whites have slowly but surely increased in numbers because they are protected and the Great Aust Bight was turned into a Marine Park and no one is allowed to catch the pups. Start catching the pups in the Great Aust Bight tomorrow and in 15 years time Great Whites wont be a problem to our ocean users.
