The then TAH board, must be really regretting not taking up Entian's offer of $3.5 billion around 18 months ago. According to my calc's that's around $1.46 / new TAH share (please check). i believe that Entain's offer was just before Paula Dwyer and David Attenborough left the company. They certainly were more interested in socialising and were hopeless mangers.

TAH wouldn't get anywhere near that price now, particularly with Entain's recent advertising deal with NSW pubs. TAH naively provided around $50 million in fee relief for NSW pubs to manage the impact of COVID-19 shutdowns. The overseas owned opposition wouldn't have done same. They are much more business orientated than TAH. All TAH can hope for is that, after Betr is awarded the WA licence, Entain may come back with another offer, which one suspects would be much lower than before. We have Morning Star valuing TAH at $1.14 and Goldman-Sachs 80c, seeminlgy betting at opposite ends of the scale.

My thoughts. i would appreciate yours.
