Firstly the NsW and fed govt wanted to loosen travel restrictions prior to the vac even began from what I have seen. That is what I was referring to as being insane.
Not wanting to installing purpose built quarantine facilities more than six months after the outbreak as wanting to continue with a model of hotel quarantine that was obviously insane when the only community transmission occurring were in hotel quarantine.
Just some of the insane decision/attitudes towards this pandemic. It’s not the first time the world has experienced a pandemic.
