There is a private company in Queensland called QEM that has a vanadium shale oil deposit at Julia Creek. It is progressing but no where as near advanced as AVL.
Without detailed knowledge I think the environmental approvals for vanadium from shale oil will be pretty tough to obtain.
Once SRN signs an offtake agreement the SRN Victory Bore + Unaly Hill Vanadium Project will get into full swing.
