Grw up in the pilbara...then moved to kimberleys now in darwin. All the money made in those places...especially when you look at the population. Hardly any taxes spent in those areas...all goes to the big cities for nice roads and fireworks displays. All the small town mining communities have been shut down so people can fly in/out from the cities thus overpopulating them more.
Why not reduce the birth rate in southern cities...oh thats right...gotta run the country like a business and not like it should be.
If you want water from up north hope you are prepared to pay for it cause ruining our ecosystems wont come cheap.
