A week or two ago I did a very quick search for Niobium market forecasts. I only saw reports about 2 years old. Two reports forecast 5-6% CAGR for c. a decade, and one predicted over 10% CAGR. They all said the strongest demand/growth is for HSLA steel (high-strength low-alloy) ie construction. (only a tiny amount of Nb is required) And that the highest demand growth region will be Asia Pacific.
NB these forecasts, being back in 2020, presumably were not aware of the ?later developments in uses for battery tech etc
