I would have thought market manipulation is legal if it employs robots or algorithms. For us we cannot put a buy order if we have an existing sell order. Commsec will chew you up. But if the bots executes theirs in split millisecond, maybe that millisecond gap is what technically make them legit. Not to mention HFT, and front running orders, dark pool etc.
Anyways guys, I was mistaken to say smsf have $4 trillion. Actually it’s $1t or 1/4 of all super in Aust. If $15m makes it’s way here (0.000015 or 0.0015% of smsf) and NS bank 1832 etc start buying, there’s only one way this will go.
