The Bombore ore is predominantly oxide so is not hard at all. It is also low-stripping. These factors are why the economics work (at least on paper) at low grades. Edikan is not a good comparison.
I used to think WAF wouldn't touch it as it would give them too many eggs in the BF basket. Having a build team ready to go construct is the counter to that. There are also very few shovel ready projects in West Africa.
