Africa isn't panicking about anything. I watched the Kenyan leader lecture Emmanuel Macron on power and the IMF/UN controlling various interests in the continent basically saying he doesn't want hand outs but equal parts collaboration, investment and most importantly seeing proper returns for Africans rather than having resources sucked out from under them. There was a lot of finger pointing.
If local leaders were so worried about Russia leaving wouldn't they turn to the like of the French for protection rather than lecture them?
