Not ignored, just not very accurate. The cycle over last few years has been short positions smashing share price with immense pressure, then after the damage is done wait and cover position with very little pressure at next capital raising. So the pressure balance between buying and selling has not been equal.
Now the company is close to commercialisation, it has taken on debt, so this cycle can (hopefully) no longer continue. Shareholders may finally get to see the shorts exert the same pressure buying on market as they did selling on market.
