If we are light years away from any dramas then theres no reason why all banks here wont pass on the full interest rate cuts.....
Guarantee they will be passing on .25 basis points rather than .50 if the RBA nominates .50...
The banks will want to cash in without question.
I think you will find Aust banks are actually way closer aligned to the US than you think.
Aust banks maybe fundamentally secure but that sure as hell wont stop the sh!t hitting the fan with our banks if the US banking system gets any worse....
People will quickly vote with their feet and start withdrawing their funds which in turn will create panick spreading within our banking system.
I sure hope this wont happen but its on the cards if things get worse.....
Speculative tip: Any home safe manufacturers listed on the ASX?? If so thats a BUY recommendation!! Ha!!!
