Does anyone know what happens to existing shareholders if there...

    Does anyone know what happens to existing shareholders if there is a demerger - do you just end up owning shares in the building products company and there is a public float on the sugar company - or do they do a share split and you get 1 share in each co

    PS I don't hold any shares currently but I would be interested in the sugar co - just keep holding off buying until something is sorted
