And let’s not forget that there is no patent protection on pine needles – all they have is a patent on extracting a whole bunch of fractions, most of which have not even gone through pre-clinical trials - just labelled with a letter of the alphabet. Any sniff of products actually working and $$$ being generated, then all the big biotechs will put their resources into finding a different way of preparing extracts to bypass SLA’s patent and there goes your trillion dollar company….
