Does it matter? Don't need to rub it in that he should have jumped in. Rather pointless taking a jab in that manner. Everyone's trade horizon differs.
You never know with stocks that a run is a false breakout or not. No point goading him into "fomo", he can enter when he's ready. Not when the crowds are going wild. Mimicking the herd invites regression to the mean. The best thing to do is wait and stalk.
@energe makes good points @Cam5. Part of playing in the spec end of the market is the multiples you make in speculation that they will become cashflow positive. Not when they become cashflow positive. There are larger cap stocks which have proven they can generate free cash but still have a strong growth outlook, maybe that's more suited to your investment style?
