    Agent,

Georesources just completed an Austin Chalk well roughly 40-50km North-East to the Burleson. (Grimes County)

For the first 31 days it averaged 1035 Boe/day (67% oil).

There have also been some other very good wells in the Giddings field (including in the Burleson), however there have definitely been some shockers as well.

The Austin Chalk has looked a better target than the EFS, based on past drilling results anyway. Clayton William's eagleford wells were very shallow ones, 7500 odd feet, not the best depth for an eagleford target (at first glance), I'm curious to see what deeper more pressured wells can achieve.

I guess a positive thing is that there are some older Austin Chalk wells there producing at economic rates (by current standards), who knows what kind of results modern drilling/fraccing technology + an improved knowledge of the geology will bring? Only time will tell.

You've got me very interested on this Buda well you speak of, how's that been producing?

    Cheers.
