First shipment was 6% coarse spodumene. The fines circuit is still under construction and will be commissioned in the first quarter of this year. 200000t of 6% will be sold to Ganfeng per year. Nmt also negotiated to sell 200000t of between 4-6% grade spodumene per year to Ganfeng. This was a good move as otherwise this would have been stored as waste. Also there is no extra cost to produce the 4-6% as it comes out of the costs involved in producing the 6%. Well done to Chris Reed for negotiating this deal.
