Chris Reed has in the past mentioned he expects Ganfeng to repurchase that % when the time comes,

"will the chinese guys that get paid a PE of 190 want us taking back half of production? im fairly certain they'll just be getting their cheque book out again"

I guess the fact Min is a future partner for the possessing plant will reduced the construction cost for nmt. prior it felt like a possible sale of the 51% was to help fund constructing the plant.
it would just make sense if ganfeng was willing and the price was right. Maybe just sell 30% then ramp production if they can.

the fact nmt have a large stake in HNR and if all things go to well over at ESR and deals made, could possibly have two other close sources of spod to run through mt marion-(ramped production) to feed their plant. Very early days but it ties into the two year timeline...

can someone tell whether or not if NMT/Min were to ramp up production now from Mt Marion do they have the right to that extra output and just choose to sell it to Ganfeng? or does the '100%' mean EVERYTHING that comes from the mt marion ground is Ganfengs...?
