authorisation is required in some form from most brokers. I was surprised once when Bell Potter tech team literally stopped my sale of a stock that was sinking by the minute. Each time I pressed 'sell' I got a response 'price check'. when I called them they said they could not allow me to place the order so low!!! they were protecting the market. I was outrage and said they were forcing me to keep a stock I wanted to get rid of but they would'nt budge. So I left it and some months later it flew to the sky it's one stock I would never sell and has great divs.
just shows you, authorisation is sometimes a good thing.
Am opening a second trading account with SWF. The procedure is a bit tedius but most of them are. They all require certified ID docs.

I can see SWF sp is just bursting to bounce.. next revenue announcement will see it fly. Like me, lots of people are moving to SWF for the flat rate cheap brokearage and the American stocks platform. IMO today's sp will look very cheap in a few months.
