I've never had any issues with this over the past 3 years until yesterday. I placed a trade of a tiny parcel like 3000 shares of EMH, then moved the price up to meet one of the sellers and it said waiting for authorisation.
Waited and waited, then got a message saying it was denied due to "price discovery "!
I tried again and again with same result. Eventually for some reason it went through.
I can't see any rhyme or reason for it not letting me put in an order for a tiny parcel with a limit price equal to the ask price?
I've never had any issues with this over the past 3 years...
