It's not particular to swf; they all do it. I had the same experience with a well respected online platform ( before I switched to swf) whose tech team refused to accept my 'below market' bid for a low liquidity stock. I was furious and argued with them that it's my money and I can do what I like with it. They said sorry, can't do it. It subsequently turned into a ten bagger with nice divvys to boot. Maybe they have a point.
