I read somewhere recently, maybe Bloombergs or CNN - I can't remember I'm getting too old, but the gist of the story was about a new frac technique being tried in the US by just one operator, where they were getting excellent/much improved results from shorter but thicker lateral fracas i.e. using more sand to hold open shorter but wider fracs.

Apparently it's attracting a fair bit of interest in the US.

I wonder if that sort of technique would work in Cambay 77H?
