This from BC8 today. They’re building a 500ktpa gold processing facility - their 6x CIL tanks cost just $190k. I think the major expense for Sandfire to convert Degrussa from producing a copper concentrate to producing gold bars is CIL tanks and potentially a regrind circuit. Going off the costs here the incremental capex to turn Degrussa into say a 2mtpa gold processing facility appears minimal.
Get the AGM out of the way Friday and pop the news next week on Botswana and week after Old Hwy, should be a busy couple of weeks into Xmas for news flow.
