    People don't just keep buying small amounts of stock at any price for no reason.

    That's right, and the reason is that with such a small cap it is impossible to make a large purchase without lighting a fire under the price. There is rarely more than 50000 shares for sale, and e.g. if right at this moment, I placed a market order for 60000 shares, the price would go to last sale 4.10, bid 4.10.

    Even an order to buy 30000 would lift the price to 3.40.

    In another century, a company called Posiedon went to $282, - which is about $1900 in today's money at an inflation rate of 5%. One of the reasons was that it had a cap of less than 3m shares on issue. About 2.6m I think.

    EBT looks good, but of course it works the other way too. If bad news comes out, you write it off, as selling small caps is even harder than buying them.
