I am struggling to figure what your finger has to do with a hole in your sock?

Let me tell you that if your sock has a hole in it then it is not orphaned, it is in fact stuffed.

If your finger is putting a hole in your sock then you are not wearing it correctly!! lol

I have many fond memories of my Grandmother sitting in her chair darning socks. When I suggest that my wife should darn my socks the answer is always the same, " Why would I darn socks when I can buy new ones for $2 a pair".
I cannot disagree with that logic but I still ask every time just to see the reaction.
